Desktop 0.1.8: link a folder to a Team workspace

Desktop 0.1.8 is out. Sign in, connect a project folder, and link that folder to a Team workspace. The map and the assistant config stay on the machine. Local CLI, MCP, and Connect still run with no account.

This is a Desktop release, not a sprint close. Say "0.1.8 is out".

What you can do

After Connect, pick a workspace and Link folder. Desktop records the folder name and a path hint on the account edge. Linking the same path again does not create a second row.

Share writable layers publishes an index of the CEM layers you are allowed to write — the closed set from ADR-0019 — for that linked project. It is an index of entities and relations, not a copy of local memory.db. A teammate with read access can fetch the published slice. This build does not merge that slice into their local memory.

Link and share do not ask for a subscription in 0.1.8. Seat checks stay off until billing is turned on.

Getting it

latest.json is 0.1.8 and lists signed Windows and macOS updater platforms, so Check for updates can offer this build on both.

What did not ship

Sprint 25 is still open. Linux is not on the download channel. A pull that merges a teammate's layer into local memory is not a Desktop button in this build.
